How far along? 36 Weeks
Total weight gain: 26 lbs.
How big is baby? Baby is now watermelon sized, at approximately 19 inches and 6.5 lbs. I am so uncomfortable.
Sleep? It’s ok. Pretty interrupted, but I’m so tired I pretty much get up and wander to the bathroom in my sleep now.
Best moment this week? Doc’s visit Tuesday. He said baby could feasibly be born any time at this point and be just fine, and would come home with us!
Movement? Yes! I know he’s running out of room in there, but he’s still pretty active. Some of the movements are really strong and they almost hurt!
Food cravings? Nothing in particular.
Labor signs? Tons of Braxton Hicks contractions!
What I miss: Not being painfully aware of my sciatic nerve.
What I’m looking forward to: Touring the hospital tonight! I’m really curious what it’s like, and I know it’ll make me feel a little more relaxed if I know what my environment for labor is going to be.
Baby boy is ready to join his relatives! Good job, Babymama. Better pack that bag!
